Love You.

Laguna

The moon coats the world in an unceasing darkness,

ringing true to the world's humanity in an eternal slumber.

I sit on the bed and light up a candle,

its floral nature mismatched with the blaze that melts it and I envy its fury.

A cornucopia of the masculine and the feminine,

the fragrant wax and the fire work together to generate something meaningful,

no words spoken yet it conveys a tale of a complicated romance.

I recognize the delicacy of the lilac-scented candle within me,

the type that instills in me the devotion to one man for the rest of my life.

I watch as the candle lights up the room tainted by darkness,

and I acknowledge my desire to set the world ablaze in a fiery storm,

crushing the evils of this world with a smile on my face and a bouquet of lilacs in hand.

The candle left on the bedside table before me,

I lay by the man I love and close my eyes wide shut as the storm takes effect.
