Slowly To The Desires

RSH

Slowly to the desires

I walked along the way

Lost in the alluring moment

From pride to dismay

Could have learnt better

Tried to have it fixed

If i had stopped and mended

Mistakes that i have missed

Through all the sorrow found

And all the time I lost

The living must realise

Life is worth the most

Aimed for the most worthy

For that is now what i crave

I lived along in my pathetic pride

When my real home was the grave
