Notice of absence from Tom Dylan
*NO LONGER POSTING AS GETTING ERROR MESSAGE*
.
*NO LONGER POSTING AS GETTING ERROR MESSAGE*
.
Are you coming with me
to the appointment?
she asks.
As if I'd leave her
to go on her own.
I squeeze her hand.
Of course I am.
Am I worried about her
how she's feeling
about everything
how she's sleeping?
Of course I am.
What about you?
she says,
turning to face me.
Are you okay?
I give her my most
optimistic and
upbeat smile,
and tell the biggest lie.
Of course I am.

Thanks, Orchi. Appreciated.
A gem, Tom. There's something so simple, plain and absolutely truthful about this. I've seen it many times in the faces of partners such as you in in this piece.
Thanks a lot, Dave. Really appreciated.
Tremendous work. Powerful.
Thanks, Thomas. Really appreciated your comments.
Great work!
Captures a feeling that many can relate to! The strong being strong for the strong.
That is exactly it. Thanks a lot for your comments.
So very well described the aching of being not fine but smiling and saying yes regardless, and for a women going through something important and in some cases terrifying to ask just shows to me anyway, Soulmate this has so many layers of emotion and lessons for us all. Kudos 🌹
Thanks so much, Teddy. Really appreciated.
