Taking me to bed

Forrest

Banging my head

against concrete

and plaster so maybe

it'll shake my china

glass mind into place

and I'll push my

stomach

legs

and hips into clothing

and hidden places to

realize the minute

mouse girl my

mother loves while

my father can't

seem to find it in

him to remember

how he split me

open and strewn

my fluffy insides

around softball

fields and a dinner

table and the confines

of a car with

energy so hot and

writhing it burned

a brand into my

brain so now I'm

quiet save for the

bone crushing blunders

I commit in silent nights
