Summer is gone, winter is taking over
Don’t mind if my eyes water while I’m sober
Raindrops falling on my windshield
Seattle’s cold ego spreading through the city
Reminds me when you and me used to be out in the open
Cigarettes and sex playing in the shallow background and all I can think about is how we used to see each other more often
Anywhere you go I’ll present myself in a different form
Everywhere I go I hope I see you behind every shadow that is unknown
I been stuck
Following the footsteps of a dark soul, can you not?
Tangles and scribbles
Life seems so easy when I’m high on this reefer
The heart wants to stay but the moon says no
Help me understand, is it me that you are always thinking about?
Is it me who keeps your days company?
Separated into two like the two fishes on my sign
I’ll take the dark path so you can walk the white one, closer to the light.
