the leaning tower of laundry
greets me every night as I
walk through my bedroom door,
it is an incredible fixture and more,
stacked on one side of the bed,
waiting forever to be put away
at night when I fall asleep
it turns into a monster of the deep

I can relate to the leaning tower of laundry, more so when my kids were at home. These days it's a breeze, just two old people who apparently wear the same clothes every day. This is such a fun write my friend, and I love the pic!
Bella Shepard, thank you for your thoughtful words. Hugs, Sonia.
