I ve been waiting and praying
though unanswered prayers remain
Ive been fasting and moaning
with nothing to gain
Disbelieve came lerking at my door
as somehow faith has hit the floor
Show me a sign Dear LORD
the smallest one would do
Unanswered prayers seems lost
somewhere between me and YOU

Allow me to elaborate the state I m in
as no one seems to understand
I really only need YOUR hand
I am not trying to offend
or slay YOU with demands
I ' ve always known YOU to be fare
Forgive my unauthorized urgency Unanswered prayers disturbing me
In realizing once again it ' s true
