What's in your head?

Chad Carlson

Notice of absence from Chad Carlson
Hey everyone. I'm taking this time to thank everyone that has read my poems, everyone that left comments, taken the time to start a conversation, and Thank you Mason for handing me my first loss in a few years. Like I said you came hard and I respect that.

I'm taking some time to step back and focus on my ever expanding health issues as well as getting into a strong mindset for my upcoming 7th spinal fusion operation. I appreciate you all. This is not goodbye like The Terminator I'll be back... And much like Terminator my spine will be metal.

By Chad Carlson

I get this question a lot
I'm a dyslexic introvert with Asperger's
More clutter than not
My mind has so many things
It's hard to sort it out
I start on one subject
But it's always roundabout
Fifteen subjects later
I remember how to end the first thought
Most people have already walked away
Their patience completely shot
My tone is loud and direct
Most people call me an asshole
I mean no disrespect
It's hard to correct something when you don't know what you're doing
My wife calls me dense and stupid sometimes
Leaves my confidence utterly ruined
If there was a way to declutter
I'd do it without a second thought
But then I wouldn't know anything
And my creativity would just stop

    I admire the courage.

Thank you for reading this and leaving a nice comment. It's terrifying to put myself out there for everyone to see. I have accounts on several poetry sites. I'll be posting more soon. Some are dark and horror driven, some are about the darkest times of my life. Please check back periodically for another dose of weird 🤣

I appreciate your kind words. I'll be posting more everyday. At least for a while anyway.
