This truth tween us
Surprisingly I find myself staring
at our pictures on the wall
A reminder why in those days
to me you looked so tall
Never in a million years I 'd thought
that today I'd feel so small
The night is young and sad to see
your in preparations of deceite
"Honey don't wait up for me"
these words my companion be
No need for any confessions it true
your actions left a pitiful you
Credit cards statements volumes speak
of ungodly pleasures yes indeed
No work commitments but loving treats
why could'nt it just be me
Leave the door open as I too wish to see
this person who' d be replacing me
Is she smart ,stunning or perfect being
or possibly a companion sweet
I can confess that I 've known a while
but u and me shared our ile
Once again I ' d set you free
Surely someday she'll be me
