The Ending I Want

TheVlama

If you are the moon, I don't want to be the Sun.

If you are the darkness, I don't want to be your light.

If you are the ocean, I don't want to be a fish.

This is not the type of ending I want.

    What I want is

If you are the moon, I want to be the stars

   shining together,

If you are the darkness, I want to be a little bird

    lost in you,

If you are the ocean, I want to be the salt

mixed in every part of you.

I like the metaphors that you used here to describe how you don't want someone to be dependent on you. You want them to work alongside you instead.
