The Moody Beast

Poet Bee

Snowflakes assault

my surroundings

as I sit trapped inside my home.

That moody beast

named Nature

won't settle

on her decisions

for this early spring!

Today she screams out

a snowstorm,

while yesterday

she whispered

spring like secrets

into my chilled ears.

Now I bitterly sip my java

as I dream of dancing tulips

and comforting breezes.
