Locked Away In Reality

Emperor

Locked away in reality

The stories lived are brief

Morning light stays a while

But long are the nights of grief

Tears are absent from the face

Maybe the eyes ran out

Or maybe pain is after all

Just a part of life now

Through all the smiles of yesterday

And the sorrow of the moment

Head will always be kept high

To outreach the torment

Forest of fantasy burnt away

As i was locked away

The eyes have seen all the desires

But the eyes will not say

Come back tomorrow, when I'm free

In a better place no doubt

I have planted more forests

That the eyes will tell you about
