Eternal shadow

Koshish

"Take my light,

To shine brightly in the darkest of the night.

Take my heart and let it beat for you.

Take my eyes and let them see the misfortune.

Take my ears and let me hear the noises.

When you fall, let me be your rope.

When you cry, let me be your eye.

So let me be the one for you,

Your eternal shadow.

Until the sun shines,

Until the sea dries.

For I can't part from you,

So let me be the other half,

With whom you can cry and laugh.

My eyes will only see you among the crowd,

My ears will only hear your voice from the noises.

So let me be the only one,

Your eternal shadow,

Your other soul."
