A crown of thorns was placed upon his brow, the only Intent to mock,
Not knowing that He is the cornerstone of the world and he is our solid rock,
On which we build our foundation to live a faithful life,
Jesus the groom and we the church as His Heavenly wife,
He was put on trial then beaten and tortured in the most evil way,
He was crucified and entombed, but rose again on that miraculous third day,
He is risen and making us our home,
In the kingdom of God , in New Jerusalem, forever with Him we'll roam,
He gave his life so we may live, with peace and prosperity,
But the devil finds his way in giving us strife and negativity,
We must not give up or give in to the evils of the devils rule,
Because when the time comes and Jesus returns, there's only one outcome to their duel,
Good will prevail and evil will go down,
Jesus will be clothed in white and wearing His rightful crown,
A crown of glory, a crown of peace, a crown of hope and reigning from above
To take us home on the wings of a mighty eagle engulfed in His perfect love.

A fine write B.
Yes - a short interval from death to resurrection!
Even one thorn stings - a nagging ache and pain.
Thank you dear Orchi!
Happy Good Friday
