Taught Me This

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Still learning but some stuff I should probably miss,
Others can come out the woodwork and take the piss,
Watch a snake shed it's skin then start to slowly hiss,
Life experiences have taught me this,
Turn my back to avoid the Judas Iscariot kiss.

That Judas there looks sinister. He repented later, but he got caught up in the 'religious' leaders stuff too - often a problem.
A pity - only 30 pieces of silver. How long would that have lasted him?

Indeed, I think there are more Judas's around than we know, snakes in the grass.

Interesting picture choice - sent me down the rabbit hole...

    Great shortie there - enjoyed.
