My memories of you

Anne-Marie

After the time we’ve spent together, the only thing I can hold on to are my memories with you.

I will never receive a message from you again, so I have to hold on to my memory, where we’ve talked for hours.

I will never see you smiling at me again, when you saw me coming from the train station. So I have to hold on to my memory, where we kissed each other right after you smiled.

I will never hear your laugh again, every time I’ve made a stupid joke. So I have to hold on to my memory, where we had fun together without thinking about what comes next.

I will never have the opportunity again, to say sorry for all the things I have done and said to you. So I have to hold on to my imagination, where you forgive me.
