Lars And The Poetic Girl

mtrotter1

I am searching for an inspiration, a real love;

For he is fine in all his splendor

Oh hail to the heart that praises deep

For the heart is the center of mundane things

How can I forget the experience in miles

When he has my heart in a stone?

Oh Lars, Lars; the truth is a beautiful summons

To the real story at large, I suppose

For Lars is the real man, the real man in love

I suppose my poetry steals your heart away

For Lars and the real girl, the poetic girl;

Is she the genius within the minds of others?

Collect my heart within the stars

For I will show you peace;

For your name rhymes with Mars, I suppose?

Oh you are so beautiful, my darling Lars

For I used your name a million times

Lars, Lars, Lars, Lars, Lars...

Shall I say your name forevermore?

Two lovely biscuits on a plate, I suppose;

Oh Lars, give me your heart and chain

So I can be in your life forever...

How dare you feel such a leap for me

When you've just got off the train?

Your eyes are like aliens

And your mouth speaks of heaven,

I want more of your mystery if you will

Oh show me the mystery till

The sun will never shine again

For the stars will grant our love

And only love will take us to outer space

Oh bloody Lars, bleed your blindness with passion

For I write the words of this melody

Just to open your eyes

And a rose in the sky won't bleed such love

For we are eternal

Like two pirates on a ship

Lars, Lars, and the poetic girl

For we have captured the night.
