LAST GATHERING AT THE BARBICAN’S PIZZERIA.
Last London’s company’s gathering-
Sunny warm May day.
Beautiful flowerbeds at Barbican’s centre.
No expectations of great fun this time.
Italian owned pizzeria- home style-
Acceptable prices for the Finance city centre.
A former Italian colleague- Friuli Venezia Giulia
recently father
standing still
white shirt- black trousers.
Tall,thin
pompous- rethorical person
indifferent of the beautiful Barbican’s flowerbeds.
Former Rumanian colleague
acid this time
smoking
peering
showing the way to the looms
intruder- not keeping the right distance.
Look at the stunning fountain and wonderful flower beds’’!
An extra large heavy afro Dutch sitting on a small chair
wearing an outrageously miniskirt
chewing her pizza, open mouth
talking of her extensive sexual and night life.
She said: ‘’MOST Frenchmen find me adorably vulgar’’!
Another former Italian colleague
Mixed race- on his 40’s
perfumed…..Estee Lauder men – poofy-
smiling
cocktail friendly
samba friendly
tango friendly.
Compassionate eyes on me, whose owner was the same Italian restaurant owner:
Are you Italian? Are you married’’? He asked me.
Last slice of home made pizza, no longer paying attention to anybody’s movements, gestures, and talks.
I had the feeling that the company I had been working for since my arrival in London, was in agony
in intensive therapy, with a sort of palliative recovery
Business resolution
Technological treatement! It would be dissolved in October 2018.
So far so good- not good at all.
