Game of nerves

Alan R

They play

Led astray, more than they can say

I join

And yes I try, I try to stay

They don't

Have rules, all they do is take

I lose

Confused, I try and soon, I break

I run

They run, faster than I ever could

I fall

They drag me, all the way into the woods

I scream

They dance, in the darkness of the night

I die

They claim, which one of'em gets the bigger prize

My soul

Now free, of their game of nerves

My body

The limits to which, their darkness could reverb.
