Blue

Anthony “Tappy” Paull

Blue is the colour of the sky on a clear day

As I fly my glider miles and miles away

Blue is the colour of the deepest Sea

Where my sailing boat goes when the winds are free,

Blue is the colour of my Husky dog’s eyes

Which makes him look to have a soul that is wise

Blue is the colour of my old footy clubs jersey

With white butchers stripes the Leprachauns be,

Blue is your heart if you’re lonely and sad,

It shows other people that you really feel bad

But one the thing the colour blue will never be

Is the how I feel about your love for me.
