Dear Little One

Mason Vollman

I know little one, your hurt and your scared.

You feel like you wanna hide, you feel like you wanna run.

But let me tell you little one, I promise its not an oath.

You only got one chance to succeed, and one chance to have fun.

I want you to do them both.

I tell you little one, when your out all alone.

and the wind and the rain puts your body in shock.

the world will make you feel like your all alone.

But keep your head up high, and don't let your boat rock.

The world always tends to move the opposite way,

Everybody who don't know Christ, is following wealth or fame.

You walking forewards, all the rest walking back.

Well let me tell you little one,

Your going the right way.

So I read this as The Lord being the one talking to the Little One. It could be a parent too but it works well either way. I love the Tupac inspiration.

Thank you, I've always been a 2Pac fan. He to loves poetry and rap. Also a great messgae. (Well, some songs at least) lol

The track for his Mama was a positive one plus anything he did with Digital Underground.
