My little companion

Ellen Marsell

My little companion
Early in the morning
at the hour when the moon is watching
it touches me, caressing my wake-up call,
page opens on nine lives ...
Knowing all the spirits of the home
speaking to the old shadows
its tail beating time to the symphony of hours.
''Tell me what's your secret identity?"
You seems so disdainful of the name I gave you !
You little wizzard, amusing imposter !
You look at me with your slightly jaded gaze !
As if you were saying:
"You're my favorite object !"
Your attentive ears erecting like pyramids
My little companion looks like a pharaoh
its a musician who balances on the night
and dreaming during the day ...
It love me in a cheeky way
It knows I went disturb it's sleep on the couch ...
Your highness the cat ...
