Under Your Sacrificed Eyes

stuckinsideofmobile

Under your sacrificed eyes

Lays my shade unscratched,

No words of given scent, in the blind world.

Step by step, with helping hand,

Prompt to insignificant indignation.

Never sought after kinglike stature,

Yet still towers and bellows warnings and light,

With night watchmen sight,

To aid the sturdy grip of a trying palm.

And with each year, your sacrificed eyes,

Step by step,

Exist in the splattered torch of a young man.

Away with physical requirement, placed upon shoulder

With no way to return.

Those sacrificed eyes, angled the flight,

Of a young man with a world to learn.

And through the murky myriad of who speaks true,

This young man’s eyes will take sight of you.
