The endless pain and suffering
The pain that no one relates to
Mourning the death
Unable to feel
A life was taken
In the pursuit of happiness
The regret that I hold
Was it worth the sacrifice
It’s been years
Since I lost my baby
Lies uttered by those around me
Sick of the twisted truths
The dumb games people play
Never realising how it works
The sacrifice of child
Was the greatest gift and proof of love
One that feels like it was in vain
The sadness is contagious
