On and on again...

Your_dreams

Once again she ended up as the bait

Right when she thought “ Oh I’m done with self-hate”

Seems like damnation was just her fate

They kept on going till it was too late...

  • Comment from author about the poem: I guess that’s one of the perks of growing up in a dysfunctional family...Trying to keep everyone together, taking on everyone’s burden... until you can’t anymore and they’re all busy being mad at you cuz they needed you... and, no one cares that you’re breaking apart inside, that each day you get up, hiding the tears that come out at night... that’s the worst part of it actually. Doing everything for everyone cuz you love them even though u know that they’re too busy in their own shit to ever be there for you.

This is a powerful piece and certainly a very sad description of the human condition.
