Embracing Silence

TeekayBlaQ

In the still of night,
I find my heart at peace,
No longer burdened by the hate,
No longer searching for fake love.

The weight of resentment
Lifts from my weary shoulders,
As I release the bitterness
And let forgiveness reign.

In the embrace of silence,
I find a love that's true,
No longer tangled in deception,
No longer swayed by empty words.

Now, I stand in my truth,
Embracing the calm within,
No longer haunted by the past,
No longer held captive by regret.

In the quiet of my soul,
I find a peace that's pure,
No longer yearning for acceptance,
No longer seeking validation.

I am free from the chains
Of animosity and pretense,
Finally content in my own skin,
Finally at peace with all I gave.
