A little bit broken

accross_world_with_u

Lying in my bed at night, gripping to my pillow tight,

Praying to God, thoughts not spoken “please help me, I’m a little bit broken.”

I don’t want to be this sad, in my tears I’m choak’n,

I’m in bitter pain, crying out just how my heart is broken!

Deep in the sands of time, hurtful memories I have frozen,

By God’s Hand, I’m persevering on this path, which I haven’t chosen.

Listening to wave’s calming song, as along the shore I’m walki’n,

Taking in cool salty air, healing all which was left in my soul a little broken.

You present to me your love pure and real, as a golden token,

How you have chose me despite knowing that I’m a little bit broken.

The desire for living with your tender love, you have within me a woken,

Only with you by my side, I can fix all which has in me been a little bit broken.
