Owning my scars
Starting afresh no easy task
once a break up defined
Deciding to let go of the past
just might be my best move ever
New venture ,new love awaits
Scary as it may seem
Excited to share a new dream
Love has taught me to accept
Memories all safely kept
Scars left now owned with pride
In fact I kept a perfect guide
On what to do next time around
I swear you 'd be so proud
At one stage I tought I 'd die for you
Never thought I'd cry for you
In honour of the could have been's
These scars I'll keep as prove of us
