The Tiny Thought

MindPoems

I found a tiny thought

Smaller than your most secret hopes

It told me it's name and I returned my own

The Tiny Thought surprised me;

I've been waiting for you

What took you so long?

I've been so busy I replied

So busy you couldn't find me?

I apologised and asked if I could help

I've been waiting to help you

Whispered the tiny thought

You do know I love you?

Said the tiny little thought

Yes I do I spluttered

I love you too
