Love no more or one more?

My heart aches; it no longer longs for you.  

Was it just resting or tired of you?  

Love that I used to think was compatible  

Turns out to be impossible.

 

Should I love you one more or no more?  

Or accept that love has departed,  

Leaving our story incomplete?  

Is "no more" the right answer, since you're no longer it?

 

Your scent no longer brings solace,  

Your presence no longer feels like home.  

I mistook you for sanctuary,  

But you were the darkest void I couldn't escape.

 

Love twists into ache and sorrow.  

Was it always destined to be this way?  

Or was our love fated to this end?

 

Should I ask for one more  

Or let love be no more?  

I wish it did last like there's no tomorrow  

So I wouldn't ask for one more.
