A letter to (Insert Name Here)

Jeffery Lee Palmer

Love is our mutual dream

two lovers living in perfect harmony

You're an emotional fortress and a reliable partner

If any gaps form, I would be your carpenter

We could lay in bed tracing each other's body

The curves of your frame always keep me wanting

The sway of your hips and perk of your lips

your kiss feels like I am getting away with sins

Our dreams and goals perfectly align

I begged and wished for a sign

like some miracle, you glided into my life

we lie on the grass under the clouds

confessing our love without any doubts

we dance at night with candles lit

always kissing like we just met

The fire and passion could warm our souls

our love would be the greatest story ever told

Our children would be so beautiful

because their looks mostly came from you

No one likes a lier especially you

Every word I speak will always be true

lies are like the bite from a viper

poison lingering until it kills the lier

My arms and chest could be your home

a place you will never be alone

Awaking to get lost in your eyes

Like an infinite sunrise, I call mine

I dream every night in my sleep

Of the happiest life I can ever lead

Awaking to know your heart is mine to keep

Behind the door, we keep our secrets

with no intention to ever leak them
