The Afterglow Redolence

Lohithawrites

There were times when I would gaze into the sky,
Reminding me of the same sky where my dreams would dive,
A sky so blue, yet, finishing it off with a stroke of rose,
The same rose, that savoured every part of my soul.

The words were unanswered, untouched,
Yet I couldn't unsee the magic in your eyes,
Reminding me, maybe, maybe it's all worth it a try,
Somehow the stars did it's magic, I wondered if it's the afterglow.

Sitting under the same sky, where my dreams did dive,
In a heartbeat, our souls aligned, in the same redolence I feel so alive.
