I think I heard you rattle,
I heard your tone change,
I told you about my date,
But you weren’t fond of this, strange.
But finally into love I battle,
I never expected to hear you rattle,
Or to panic over me,
Especially when years ago,
You were the one who tried to flee,
I told you about the circumstance,
You acted very refrained,
The settling confused you
Not telling me what was actually on your brain,
The settling confused you,
But you know me,
So far this lifetime,
I have not settled since thee,
When you were not upfront,
Thank god you did the tests,
If not for that one call,
I wouldn’t have known for the best,
Your undisclosed polyamory wasn’t serving me,
Even after all these years,
I need to move on for me.
