I Don't Get It'

Mason Vollman

Cherish!

Rejoice!

How?

how can you cherish what you cannot see?

how can you feel,

if it may not be?

a life worth living, might not be real.

But the upcoming times may not be worth the heal.

the confusion now,

is running down deep.

where there once was happiness, the sorrow will seep.

I wish I knew if what I feel is real.

The word "Cherish" doesn't seem to apeal.

How?

  • Comment from author about the poem: When your so occupied over what you wish was real, you start to believe it's real. Then when you find out its not real. Nothing tends to seem real anymore. Oh God save us.

Dunno if I can cherish ya or not, due to the fact I can't see ya, with paper bag over head! lol.

    • Mason Vollman

Well, it goes both ways. What are those, Rats?

      • orchidee

Argh! No! If rats, they are giant mutations. They are guinea pigs.
I can't show a pic of me - I'm half human, half guinea pig - sometimes. Eh? lol.

It's quite sad for me to read this as you are so young, I think today's child has a bit too much on their plate. Excellent work. 🌹

        • Mason Vollman

Thank you Teddy. It's not really to much on my plate, the pressure we think is to much were just not used to, compared to what an adult can go through. it's just you don't really understand things completely at this age. I know why I'm here. I know the Lord is always with me. But I just feel lost sometimesπŸ™

          Thanks again for thecomment. πŸ’“
