Empty rooms

Nicole Pritchard

Here, I am on my own

But there is still

So many empty rooms

How can they be filled?

All the hopes that I have

Isn't even enough

To fill some of these rooms

The echoes in the hallways

Is so deafening

With all the love

That I could share

Isn't enough to fill the rooms

I would love to have a full house

Not an empty house

Where a family can grow

Come fill these empty rooms

So it isn't so lonely
