From a city in Northern Indiana, I hit the road with an ounce in my hand
I was out looking for fortune and learning to become a man
As I searched the California mountains, I found one way love and not much else
Now those years have become memories, Who is there to blame but myself ?
Baby girl showed me things down in Texas she thought every man should know
And those long hard lessons still pleasure women when I grow
A trip to Lawrence Kansas took me through Fayetteville
Where I met a razorback woman who is still under my spell
Met Kentucky Rosie on the Ohio river, a week-end of lust as the boats raced by
I learned more secrets of passion and when I left, I left her satisfied
Pretty Pam hailed from the Maryland coast, she used to love it when I made her curl her toes
Met Bobbi in New York City and I spun her world around
When I left the big apple, she swore the best had just left town
Kendallville Karen know that she misses me and the raw passion that we had
And when she floats across my mind she leaves me feeling sad
I look back into my past to find myself and I only find lust and not much else
