Taming Fire 

 

Prompt: The Lightning Dances In Her Eyes!

 

She has fire in her soul

It completely consumes her

The ticket will pay the toll

But only if your sure

 

She has a new beginning

She picks up the jagged pieces

Every good story has an ending

One that you don't want to miss

 

She becomes one with the fire 

She endures the flames

The lightning will take her higher

The scorching heat she tames

 

She throws hatred into the water 

As she douces out the embers

But the fire just burns hotter

Her pain it remembers 

 

She knows where she is going

The flames know where she's been

This pile of ashes is growing

And she will ride it to the end
