My Favorite Person

joycegaddi

You are my favorite person,

For no reason, in all seasons.

Your cute eyes can make me smile,

And that, I cannot deny.

How about when you smile?

Your smile makes my heart melt,

But eventually, it made my heart ache.

I think of you day and night,

And I wonder if you also might.

I crave your attention, with no bad intention,

Because what I have for you is affection.

I let you go, as you want me to,

And it pains me deeply, I don't know what to do.

I suffer, I struggle, more than I can handle,

A lingering feeling that is very hard to recover.

This cycle will never end,

As long as our communication is still on its end.

It is madness that I'm drowning in sadness,

The result of chasing this thing called happiness.
