Tune: St Helen
('Lord of Lords and King eternal')
Daniel 4 v.34-37
*********
Nebuchadnezzar, he the King
Of Babylon, he did bring
Praise and worship to God most High
And did sense His presence nigh
Honoured Him who lives for ever
His dominion fades never
And all of earth's inhabitants
Are counted as nothingness
In their pride and selfish glory
As too did apply to me
He does according to His will
In the heaven and earth still
None can restrain His hand, nor can
Argue with Him as mere man
Then Nebuchadnezzar's reason
Returned, though for a season
The Lord God had him humbled, for
He was proud, selfish, for sure
Now he praised and extolled the King
Of heaven, tributes did bring
And thanks for his restoration
He great King of the nation
Knowing now the Lord's ways are true
And He just judgement does do

with regard to your note .. that's probably because the old king N pre-dates vinyl and celluloid ..
Thanks N. lol.
Know this geezer from Sunday school - though I could never spell it, his name had a certain ring. Don't test me on what else about him 'cos I can't remember, and having peered at his Wikipedia page, I've done a quick bolt back here and will accept willingly your version....
Thanks Dave. Did ya remember meeting him in person, and Goldfinch and I probably did?! lol.
I heard he was a heck of a gardener building hanging gardens. Good write Orchi.
