No Love to Act On

As I wait for you at the door 

My heart is flying 

I’m just wanting to soar

Out of this, I’m dying 

 

Life is just like a knife 

Stabbing me unceasingly 

I’m Trying to pour my heart in your life 

But you shut me out repeatedly 

 

Your love is so misleading

Conniving you are

It’s almost like it’s not ceasing
