PAIN

I never thought I’d be fascinated with pain 

how a mere sensation can affect the brain

 

The after effect of an adrenaline rush

or a broken heart or a crush

 

It can be pure torture, emotional and physical

 but enough to remind you there’s no need to be normal

 

And though I never thought it would fascinate me 

it is the only thing that reminds me of me...
