I've always loved dogs, more than anything,
But then you came, loving cats, they became something.
You taught me to love both, that much is true,
But cats seemed more fun, with you in view.
I don't love music, nor do I hate,
But then you sang, and my heart found its mate.
Your voice was angelic, a melody divine,
With you, my love for music did shine.
I keep secrets hidden, away from the light,
But with you, they surfaced, in the dead of night.
You had the key to my hidden library,
Reading my story, without a single query.
I enjoy solitude, being on my own,
But with you, I found a love that's grown.
You served me like a lover, in every way,
In my own castle, you made me feel like a queen, every day.
I held onto everything, all that felt like you,
Now that you're gone, I feel so blue.
Everything reminds me of you, it's true,
In everything I do, I see echoes of you.
My actions now mirror everything you'd do,
In each step I take, I feel closer to you.
In every breath I draw, your presence is shone.
For in the tapestry of life, woven with love so true,
Every thread, every hue, is everything just like you.
