In the Garden

geordinthepoet

Pardon me, may I sit under this magnolia tree? I’d like to commend the bees on their honey-making, and I’d like to feel the grass caress my toes

I’d like to lie face to face with these lilies, to laugh at their silent comedies, becoming full off their purity

If anyone is asking for me, don’t tell them where I’ll be, I’d like to find some new serenity in the garden, while sitting under this magnolia tree

watching the tomatoes grow, watching the water glow, admiring the reflection of the rainbow

the lotus flower is my best friend, and I am one with the swimming fish, there’s nothing like the sight of the birds making love to the sky, nothing brings such bliss

So if life is asking for me, make it believe that I won’t be returning, for my life is in the garden, sitting under this magnolia tree

I’ve decided to stay here forever and ever, the earth accepts me, heals me, loves me, for no one knows the layers of its soul as I, I know the song of the winds chime, I sing along to the song that the clouds cry

By the time you find me, no residue of me will you see, my heart has disintegrated to  the earths core
my skin takes part of its soil, my body has mused into this tree that you see

my hair pink, multiple arms seen, you can feel a warm energy, the love calling to you is from this magnolia tree

I am a part of it as it is a part of me, for I am just a tree, no longer a human being
at last, happiness has consumed me …and it is everlasting
