Footprints on trails cast

sorenbarrett

Sunray's beam's, yellow neon seams, draw in air your form

Your image clear, removes all fear, leaving my body warm

Fluttering leaves, nature's chest heaves over trails we once walked

Warbling words of operatic birds, flying musical memories of promises talked

A chilling breeze through tangled trees, where dark shadows lay

sent of morning dew, reflections blue, burning embers, break of day

surface of the river does shiver with each drop of fall

saying shadows past will not last, awaiting resurrection's call

Broken rain dissolves pain, carried by frozen wind

Muddied earth gives new birth, to angels that have sinned

Pooled in puddles time muddles, storms on oceans vast

Hope, you will find, in the mind, footprints on trails cast

I was hiding under the covers last night - lightning, though not much thunder.

Thanks for the read Orchi lightning without thunder is a scary thought. Must be deaf. Thanks for the interesting thought.

        Well seemed like distant rumbles.
