A meeting later in life

Ayush Raj Mishra

It is fortunate, It comes as a surprise

A meeting later in life.

The delay is neither the other's fault nor mine

It’s just a meeting later in life.

Cherish it, not let it fall to time

Because it’s a meeting later in life.

It fell to me, must make it bright

It doesn’t remain, a meeting later in life.

I take liberties, I take goodwill to a height

Despite it being, a meeting later in life.

Joke about myself, it is their right

Cannot be culled for it being, a meeting later in life.

I garland myself with the blessings , I treasure all the delight

All that can come to be, from a meeting later in life.

The myrtles of wishes I sprinkle, spread calmness as a blight.

It is hardly apparent that, it was a meeting later in life.
