Eclipse

Not

You’re so vibrant,

a spot of dust shouldn’t damper your day

The sky is mostly clear,

it’s just one speck that’s in the way

Maybe you’re just in a dark spot,

but remember, it won’t leave a stain

Despite the overcast covering a lot,

the sky is still behind the rain

I know you have a light inside,

your eclipse is just a temporary one

I’d say look up and see the bright side,

if the moon wasn’t in the way of the sun
