Cade can hardly wait to see Calia! To him it’s been forever since he’s seen her! He’s with Grandpa Lou for now. Helping him with his car. Grandpa was heading out of town but it didn’t make it far. “I was heading towards your Mama’s grave when it died. He says; “Well grandad let’s take a look under the hood and see what I can try.” From what Cade can see, his plugs need to be changed. They head over to Cade’s body shop and in no time it’s done. “Grandad I can’t be late.” “I’m picking up Calia in about half an hour.” “I’ve got to get home and take a quick shower.” Calia has counted the money for the day. She starts cleaning Mom and Pop’s Cafe. In the background her favorite country song plays; Heartbeat by Carrie Underwood makes her think of Cade. Cade heads over to pick up Calia. One of his many favorite country songs playing; the same as Calia’s. He steps out of the truck and Calia steps outside. “Cade?” “Is it okay if we stay here?” “Would you mind?” Cade can’t help but hear the song Calia’s listening too. “No; I don’t mind.” “How was your day?” “How are you?” They head by the water that’s out back the Cafe. “I’m good Cade!” She says; “it’s been a long day.” Calia fills him in on the gaps in his memory. The more she talks, the more he remembers and can see. He doesn’t want to miss out on this chance; “as long as this songs playing, shall we dance?” In his arms he takes her and one more chance he won’t miss! He leans in for what is a life saving kiss! Calia and Cade have been apart for many years. Together now forever; I hope you didn’t shed too many tears!
