Beyond My Saddness

aninabperez76

Patiently waiting and wondering why I lived is sadness for most my life,

I never choose to have daily blues.

But living in my shoes you'd be miserable too,

Nights so lonely and days never shared,

With no one to hold you and tell you cared,

Moments that have scared you and filled you with fear,

Have made your memories of a life and eyes filled with tears,

I lived in sadness for many years

If I go on with this memory

Ill die from inner fear.

  • Comment from author about the poem: It's how I lived as a child always broken and unhappy because of the tragic living I had to go through as a child.
