Phases

sorenbarrett

Blind fears bought contempt

paid in golden years, passion's price

No love paraded, exempt

when sex traded as a vice

Broken brick's creations, laid one by one

Shadows predicts isolation's dark wall

Sky shaded from the sun

Cloud's faded roof begins to fall

Heaven in ruins discarded

buried under rubble

Gilded illusions red carded

doubles trouble

A battered wreck

washed up on destitutions shore

a fly speck

an unveiled whore

    Good write SB.
KP's a battered wreck - or she will be when her botox melts! lol.

Thanks Orchi for the read and comment. By the way does KP stand for kitchen police?

Beautifully crafted dear sorrenbarret, phases, they start they day we are born, and as I learn each day they continue. If we are not left just with rubble by the end then we have achieved a lot. 🌹
