Passing By the Place of Samho Pavilion

Kinsley Lee

They'd grilled the flower pancakes in hazing
Daytime, in the blooming warm spring
And recited poems in the autumn breeze
When the foliage turned red in the evening.
Where had the women gone who used
To laugh out loud? It pitied
That the vacant land, the worn rice-wine bottles,
Fallen and rolled with emptied.
